Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Batch Resize at 4.6 against PhotoResizing's 3.6. Batch Resize also leads on ratings volume (511 vs 16). PhotoResizing's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Batch Resize sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and PhotoResizing sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Batch Resize holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Batch Resize has 511 ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of Batch Resize's written reviews are positive against 67% of PhotoResizing's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Batch Resize ships an update every 3 months, PhotoResizing every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
