As symptoms are marked, the list of possible diseases that can cause them will be shown for each age group. As more symptoms are selected, the list of possible diseases will be reduced to those that match all the selected symptoms. At the same time, the symptoms that do not correspond to the resulting diseases are deactivated.  The number that appears next to each symptom corresponds to the number of diseases that can cause the associated symptom. Results: Marking a symptom will display the number of possible causative diseases. Clicking on this number will bring up a complete list of diseases sorted by age group and likelihood of occurrence- with those listed in a more intense color being the most likely.
