The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Digital Press at none against The Commonwealth Journal's 1. Digital Press also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 months). The Commonwealth Journal's advantage is ratings volume (46 vs 3). On price, rating, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.
