Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Level Up Balls! at 4.6 against Butterfly RC Plane Simulator's 4.0. Level Up Balls! also leads on ratings volume (5.9K vs 13). Butterfly RC Plane Simulator's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 29%) and in-app purchases (none vs 1). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Level Up Balls! sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Butterfly RC Plane Simulator asks for nothing beyond the download.
Level Up Balls! holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Level Up Balls! has 5.9K ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Butterfly RC Plane Simulator's written reviews are positive against 29% of Level Up Balls!'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
