Proteção Digital vs ConstruCalc

Em dezembro de 1987 circulou a primeira edição da Revista Proteção, veículo que deu origem à Proteção Publicações e Eventos. Proteção surgiu como uma revista semestral, que aos poucos foi ampliando sua periodicidade. Em 1990, a circulação já era trimestral, passando a bimestral, em 92, e a mensal, em abril de 94. O projeto da Revista Proteção surgiu por iniciativa do grupo Plínio Fleck, de Campo Bom/RS, liderado por um de seus diretores, Martinho Fleck, que em 1987 decidiu encontrar um instrumento de promoção de aspectos relativos à Saúde e Segurança do Trabalho. A Plínio Fleck produz biqueiras de segurança e outros componentes para calçados de proteção e acreditava que uma revista como Proteção poderia ser um instrumento importante para a melhoria das condições de segurança nas empresas, auxiliar a ampliar o mercado dos produtos de segurança e consolidar sua imagem. O projeto da revista semestral foi ganhando corpo, mas em 1991 a Plínio Fleck decidiu concentrar suas atenções para os produtos voltados ao mercado calçadista, comercializando o título para o atual diretor da Revista, Alexandre Gusmão. A partir daí a Proteção Publicações Ltda, mudou de cidade, passando a Revista a ser editada em Novo Hamburgo/RS. Hoje Proteção é a principal publicação brasileira do setor de Saúde e Segurança do Trabalho, com tiragem mensal auditada pelo IVC de 17.000 exemplares, circulando em todos os Estados brasileiros dentro das principais empresas. A trajetória da Revista Proteção passou por uma série de iniciativas importantes, entre as quais está o lançamento do Anuário Brasileiro de Proteção, em 1995. Nesta publicação é encontrado um resumo das principais informações necessária aos profissionais de SST. Outros produtos foram lançados, como o CD-Rom Proteção, reunindo os principais artigos e matérias publicados pela revista. Em 2003 foi lançada a Agenda Proteção, que anualmente é editada e serve de suporte para os profissionais resgatarem suas anotações e informações técnicas num único documento.
