This is a subscription-only application for the trucking industry. You will be prompted for your account and user credentials upon initial startup. This application allows dispatchers to send trip information to drivers and receive updates on trip status(loaded, completed, etc.). It tracks GPS position and uploads this information to the server at specified intervals. It also implements internal messaging, which keeps all messages in one system. Driving history saved along with completed trips for driver to review at later time. Actual track vs suggested route, history and duration of stops made during trip. The driver always has access to future trip information for better planning. Trailer inspections - the driver can inspect the trailer, add comments, and refer to a list of preselected options for damage. Up to 4 pictures for each side can be taken. All information is uploaded to the office, reducing time and paperwork. The application provides added support for images in messages. The user can easily take up to 4 pictures while composing a message. WARNING: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. Roger’s FieldDirect mobile trucker application provides real-time data and information shares that support trucker’s needs including; load logistics, route planning, coordination with dispatch, load assignments, freight invoicing for quick payment, route/map and other related shipment (load) progress, statuses and other communication needs. Below are some of the features that you should be aware of before installing and using this application. Shipments: Once you are part of FieldDirect, your shipper will assign you recurring or one-time shipments to haul grain from our producers’ farm fields during harvest. In order to provide you a better experience, we use device location data with your consent. Invoice: The app will allow you to invoice your shipper for all completed shipments. Real Time Navigation: By providing your consent to monitor your device’s location data when the application is running in foreground or background (which may dramatically reduce battery life), the app will offer you route navigation capabilities to complete your shipments between a farm field and elevator. The app will provide turn by turn direction. Data Privacy: We do not share your location data with outside parties. Apart from an active load, the shipper restricts location monitoring to our business hours. Killing the application will end any location monitoring. Logging out of the application also eliminates location monitoring and deletes the devices local data storage. This application does not include any ads. Background Data Sync: The app will sync all your data in the cloud with strong encryption and restores the data to the device you are logged into. The app will sync your data in the background without disturbing your user experience. Background Monitoring: Once the app starts, it runs quietly in the background. It will be stopped once the app is killed or you log out of the application. It also stops when there are no shipments after business hours. Monitoring Multiple Devices: We only monitor your current device and clear your location data from your previous logged in devices. No Internet Connection: The app will store all your information in your devices local storage with strong encryption and allows continuous use of the application to complete basic tasks.
