Myprogress by Myknowledgemap vs MySouthampton

The Myprogress app offers an easy way for students to record their reflections and feedback while learning in practice without needing an internet connection. Students with a Myprogress account can access all of their current forms and sync them to their device so that they are always at hand. They can easily complete them and have them signed off by practice staff, and then sync completed forms back to Myprogress when an internet connection is available. You must have an institutional Myprogress account to use this app.

The MySouthampton app is the University of Southampton's personalised app for undergraduate and postgraduate taught students to easily access University services and support. The homepage highlights important updates and gives easy access to a personalised academic schedule, university events, digital student ID, and emails. Key features include: Calendar: brings together lectures, assignments and personal events, including building and room numbers along with a handy link to a campus map. Email: directly from the app you can view, send, and manage messages. Digital ID: securely access your digital student ID, complete with a barcode for accessing services on campus including borrowing laptops and resources in the library. University Events: see what’s going on in our community with a list of upcoming events, including full descriptions and directions on how to get there. Notifications: receive timely in-app and device notifications for reminders, updates, and emergency alerts. Making life easier: beyond core features, the app also includes a campus map for easy navigation, options for quick profile updates, and customisations such as a light/dark mode. We are continually improving the app so please share your feedback and look out for future developments.
