AMS USA vs Yak Groups

The AMS USA app is designed to connect this global archdiocese on which the sun never sets. There are over 1.8 million Catholics in the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA who include those serving in all branches of the armed forces and their families, those in VA medical centers, and those serving the US government outside our borders. The app provides daily readings, reflections on scripture, bible studies, inspirational and educational talks, Catholic and military prayers, and a live stream portal. This app strives to provide spiritual strength and resources necessary for those who support the mission of security and freedom. Catholics in the military also have a mission of faith, rooted in their baptism, that necessarily informs their daily interactions. Catholics are called to turn to the gift of faith, pray fervently, and be open to making their faith life a daily priority. Each is called to serve one another thereby helping Christ to be made known in the world. These resources are designed to support your daily discipline as a disciple of Jesus Christ. May god bless you in each day of your service as you willingly share the joy of Catholicism with others. The AMS USA App was created with the Subsplash App Platform. Mobile app version: 6.23.8

Your group already has plenty to talk about. Sometimes you just need a place to start. Yak is a conversation guide for small groups: parenting groups, couples, men's and women's groups, students, Bible studies, or a few friends around a dinner table. No curriculum to prepare. No facilitator required. Choose a path, and Yak gives you a topic and a few questions to help the conversation go a little deeper. HOW IT WORKS 1. Choose a path. Life, Relationships, or Parenting. Tell Yak how many of you are in the room, and it shapes the conversation for your group. 2. Let's yak. Yak gives you a discussion topic and three to five open questions. Not the right fit tonight? Tap "Try another" for a fresh one. 3. Reflect. When you're done, take a moment to notice what mattered. Type a recap or just talk it out. Voice recaps are transcribed so you can read them later. 4. Keep walking. From your recap, Yak offers one small thing to carry forward: a prayer, a reflection, a call to make, or another conversation worth having. Accept it or skip it. YOUR JOURNAL Every recap and challenge is saved to your history so you can look back on what your group has talked about. Play back voice recaps, share a recap as plain text, or delete anything you no longer want to keep. BUILT FOR REAL GROUPS Yak uses AI to generate topics, questions, and challenges in a warm, plain-spoken, non-denominational Christian voice. It never gives medical or mental-health advice, and challenges are invitations, never prescriptions. YOUR RECAPS STAY YOURS Recaps are personal. There are no ads, no tracking, and no analytics SDKs in the app. Voice recordings are transcribed under a zero-data-retention agreement and are never used to train AI models. You can delete a single recap or your whole account at any time. YAK ALSO MEANS: YOU ARE KNOWN Good conversation creates room to know people and let yourself be known. To listen. To get curious. To say the thing you've been carrying. That's the kind of conversation Yak was built to help start. Yak is invite-only for now. Grab your people. Choose a path. Let's yak.
