Recap is a private, distraction-free space for close friend groups to share weekly highlights, stay connected, and build long-lasting memories together — no public feeds, no follower counts, no algorithm. **How it works** Every week, write a short recap of your life: add photos with captions, pick a mood, tag the week, and share it with one or more private groups of friends. Your friends do the same. You see each other's weeks in a calm, chronological feed — newest first, exactly as posted, never reordered by an algorithm. **Built for real friendship, not engagement** - **Private groups:** Create groups of up to 20 friends and invite them with a code. No public profiles, no discovery by strangers — only people you invite see your recaps. - **Weekly cadence:** A gentle Sunday-evening reminder nudges everyone to share before the week ends. No streaks-for-points pressure; streaks just celebrate consistency. - **Memory look-backs:** Flashback cards surface a moment from a year ago so old weeks don't disappear into the scroll. - **Shared albums & comments:** React with emojis, comment on each other's weeks, and browse everything a group has shared in one album. **Stay connected your way** - **Direct messages:** Chat one-on-one with friends, with photos, separate from the weekly feed. - **Mood & tags:** Capture how the week actually felt and what it was about — work, travel, family, rest. - **Notifications you control:** Turn likes, comments, friend requests, weekly reminders, and memory look-backs on or off independently. **Private by design** - **No public content.** Everything you share lives inside a group you chose to join. - **Sign in with Apple** supported, plus email. - **You own your data.** Export everything you've shared anytime, or permanently delete your account and all its content in two taps. - **Safety tools.** Report or block anyone, and our team reviews reports promptly. - **No ads, no selling data.** We don't advertise and we don't sell your information. Recap keeps your closest people close — one week at a time.
