Both are free to download. Jolly Lights sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Before After Effect Collage BA sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Before After Effect Collage BA holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Before After Effect Collage BA has 381 ratings behind it against 49, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 79% of Jolly Lights's written reviews are positive against 70% of Before After Effect Collage BA's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Jolly Lights ships an update every 9 months, Before After Effect Collage BA every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
