About

DuctChecker

Easily calculate duct dimensions using various engineering methods like constant pressure, static pressure regain, total pressure, and velocity. This tool simplifies complex duct design calculations, typically found in flow diagrams or slide rules.

Highlights
  • Constant pressure method calculation
  • Static pressure regain method
  • Total pressure method
  • Velocity method
  • Duct dimension determination
  • Simplified duct design
Features

To determine the size of the duct constant pressure method, static pressure regain method, total pressure method, velocity method. Generally uses constant pressure method. This constant pressure method is how to determine the duct dimensions using the same value per 1 m on all duct friction loss. Usually determined by flow diagrams or duct design for slide rules. You can easily determine the duct by using this program.

About

AGA

Features

AGA-3 Orifice calculates size, flow-rate or pressure drop for gas and liquid flow orifice meters based on the American Gas Association AGA Report No. 3 (AGA-3) (also API Manual of Petroleum Measurement Standards, Chapter 14.3). Orifice Size is calculated from given flowrate and pressure drop, Flowrate is calculated from given size and pressure drop and Pressure Drop requires orifice size and flowrate. Different taps can be selected: Flange Taps and Pipe Taps. Fluids include gases: Natural Gas (Specific Gravity must be provided), Air and Nitrogen, or liquids: Crude Oil, Water, Methanol, Mono-ethylene Glycol, Diethylene Glycol and Triethylene Glycol. In addition, selecting orifice material will adjust the sizing parameter of the orifice depending on temperature. Customary or SI-units.
