Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Five amulets at none against Twisty Planets Free's 3. Five amulets also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.3). Twisty Planets Free's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 80%) and iOS requirement (4.3 vs 12.0). On price, ratings volume, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Twisty Planets Free sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Five amulets asks for nothing beyond the download.
Five amulets holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 10 and 11 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Twisty Planets Free's written reviews are positive against 80% of Five amulets's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
