This app interactively displays the exact overshoot in the current and future population sizes of all countries under different scenarios. The goal of this app is to warn people of the present and coming danger of overpopulation with recent scientific data. It also presents humane solutions to overpopulation for each country. The sustainable population sizes indicated in this app are the maximum amount of people that could live sustainably in a country for an extended period of time without exploiting other countries. These population sizes are calculated using the ratio between the Ecological Footprint and the Biocapacity of all countries in the world.

PopTrack turns the world population into something you can feel. A glowing, neon counter ticks upward every second births, deaths, and net growth, all in real time. It's calm, beautiful, and strangely addictive. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Watch the live world population update second by second • Pin births today, deaths today, growth today, or growth this year • Celebrate milestones with a quick burst of confetti • Turn on alerts for births, deaths, daily growth, and the moment Earth passes a new milestone • Add a home screen widget that keeps the count close • Browse every country ranked by population, with a share-of-world bar • Share a neon snapshot of the current count HOW IT WORKS PopTrack estimates the population from a recent baseline plus global birth and death rates, refined by a verified country total. Everything you see is a smooth estimate not an exact headcount. PRIVACY No accounts. No tracking. Nothing leaves your device except a single anonymous request for country totals.
