A folyami információs szolgáltatások (RIS) olyan harmonizált információs szolgáltatások, amelyek a belvízi hajózás forgalom- és közlekedésirányítását támogatják, beleértve — ha technikailag megvalósítható — a más közlekedési módokhoz való kapcsolódást. Magyarországon a Nemzeti Fejlesztési Minisztérium, a Nemzeti Közlekedési Hatóság és a Rádiós Segélyhívó és Infokommunikációs Országos Egyesület (RSOE) együttműködése keretében kerül sor a PannonRIS rendszer folyamatos fejlesztésére és üzemeltetésére. A PannonRIS mobil alkalmazás a következő tájékoztató jellegű információkat tartalmazza folyamatosan frissítve a Duna magyarországi szakaszára vonatkozóan a víziközlekedésben érintettek számára ingyenesen: ● vízállás adatok, ● hajósoknak szóló hirdetmények, ● gázlóviszonyok, ● jégadatok, ● meteorológia.
