Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: SENA PRISM at none against CarbitLink's 7. SENA PRISM also leads on review sentiment (20% vs 7%) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 16.0). CarbitLink's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 9 months) and ratings volume (166 vs 8). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CarbitLink sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. SENA PRISM asks for nothing beyond the download.
CarbitLink holds the better App Store score, 2.3 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CarbitLink has 166 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of SENA PRISM's written reviews are positive against 7% of CarbitLink's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
SENA PRISM ships an update every 9 months, CarbitLink every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
