Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is price: BibleRef at Free against Java SE 16 API Specification's $1.99. BibleRef also leads on update cadence (every 4 months vs every 25 months) and ratings volume (179 vs 11). Java SE 16 API Specification's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Java SE 16 API Specification holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6.
