Both are free to download. Magic Touch sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Popcorn Chef sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Magic Touch against 4.4 for Popcorn Chef. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Magic Touch has 1.2K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 62% of Magic Touch's written reviews are positive against 43% of Popcorn Chef's.
Magic Touch ships an update every 2 months, Popcorn Chef weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
