Verdict
The clearest difference is monetization model: Thunderbird Strike at free against Osmo Masterpiece's free with in-app purchases. Thunderbird Strike also leads on rating (4.2 vs 3.9) and iOS requirement (7.0 vs 15.0). Osmo Masterpiece's advantage is ratings volume (625 vs 39). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Thunderbird Strike holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Osmo Masterpiece has 625 ratings behind it against 39, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 49% of Osmo Masterpiece's written reviews are positive against 53% of Thunderbird Strike's.
