Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Visit MoCo holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Visit MoCo has 264 ratings behind it against 24, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of MARS's written reviews are positive against 0% of Visit MoCo's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
MARS ships an update monthly, Visit MoCo every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on September 19, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
