Rousd doesn’t replace the book in your hands: it helps you return to it. Features: • A hidden reading timer that stays out of sight while you read • A calm reading ritual designed to reduce distraction • Book search and attribution after each session • Optional notes and reflections • A Diary of past reading sessions • A Shelf for finished books and reviews • Manual logging for reading completed outside Rousd • No account required No streaks. No badges. No pressure to read faster or more. Whether you read one page or one chapter, it still counts. Read without the rush.

Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: Rousd at every 10 days against LibraryThing's every 4 weeks. LibraryThing's advantage is chart position (#205 vs unranked) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
