Verdict
The clearest difference is price: Mighty Moon at Free against Fairy Fire's $0.99. Mighty Moon also leads on review sentiment (87% vs 50%) and ratings volume (15 vs 3). Fairy Fire's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.4). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Mighty Moon is free to download; Fairy Fire costs $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Fairy Fire holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mighty Moon has 15 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Fairy Fire's written reviews are positive against 87% of Mighty Moon's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
