Turn wildfire worries into a practical plan. Aegis365 helps homeowners prepare for wildfire season with guided checklists, organized records, and a simple way to track every improvement. Whether you are clearing the roof, creating defensible space, replacing vulnerable vents, or planning a larger home-hardening project, Aegis365 helps you understand what to do next and document what you have completed. PREPARE YOUR PROPERTY, ONE STEP AT A TIME Walk around your home and use guided checklists to identify practical ways to reduce wildfire risk. Aegis365 organizes the work into manageable areas: • Defensible Space Zones 0–100 feet • Roofs, gutters, vents, and eaves • Windows, doors, siding, decks, and fences • Garages and outbuildings • Emergency access and water supply • Insurance and property documentation See what needs attention, what is underway, and what you have completed. Move through the work at a pace that fits your property, budget, and schedule. TRACK DEFENSIBLE SPACE WORK Record recurring jobs such as clearing brush, trimming trees, removing dead vegetation, cleaning roofs and gutters, and moving combustible materials away from your home. Add dates, notes, and photos to create a clear history of the work performed—not just a checklist you marked once and forgot. DOCUMENT HOME-HARDENING IMPROVEMENTS Keep records of upgrades that may make your home more resistant to embers and radiant heat, including ember-resistant vents, Class A roofing, dual-pane windows, ignition-resistant siding, enclosed eaves, and noncombustible fencing. Attach photos, receipts, costs, warranty information, and project notes to build an organized record of each improvement. KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE INVESTED Save photos of receipts and invoices as projects are completed. Aegis365 helps you track individual project costs and see your total investment in your property’s wildfire resilience. That means fewer missing receipts, fewer forgotten improvements, and a clearer picture of the time and money you have invested in your home. SEE YOUR PROGRESS Wildfire preparation is an ongoing process. Aegis365 makes it easier to manage by showing: • What you have completed • What is currently underway • What still needs attention • When work was performed • How much you have invested Your accomplishments are organized by property, turning seasonal maintenance and long-term upgrades into a visible record of progress. CREATE A SHAREABLE RECORD Generate a shareable CSV report summarizing your defensible space work and home-hardening improvements. Use it to support informed conversations with your insurance company, real estate professional, contractor, lender, or local fire agency. BUILT FOR REAL HOMEOWNERS You do not need to be a wildfire expert to get started. Aegis365 turns a complicated subject into approachable actions and helps you build a year-round routine for protecting your property. Use Aegis365 to: • Get ready for the next wildfire season • Stay on top of annual maintenance • Plan future home-hardening projects • Preserve photos, notes, receipts, and warranties • Keep property records organized in one place • Prepare documentation for insurance, refinancing, or a future sale • Use Aegis365 on iPhone and iPad with your information kept in sync DEVELOPED WITH WILDFIRE EXPERIENCE Aegis365 was developed by the nonprofit Safe Community Project with input from wildfire mitigation professionals and experience working alongside fire departments and wildfire-threatened communities. The core tools for planning, tracking, and documenting wildfire mitigation work are free to use. Optional advanced features may be offered through a future subscription. Preparation cannot eliminate every wildfire risk—but knowing where to begin, taking practical action, and keeping a reliable record can make a meaningful difference. Start preparing today.
