Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Article Reader at 5.0 against Linkpack's 4.3. Article Reader also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 61%) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). Linkpack's advantage is ratings volume (33 vs 4) and iOS requirement (10.3 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
