Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Kick Hero at 4.4 against Jump Kid's 3.7. Kick Hero also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 17 months) and ratings volume (54 vs 6). Jump Kid's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 86%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Jump Kid sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Kick Hero sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Kick Hero holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kick Hero has 54 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Jump Kid's written reviews are positive against 86% of Kick Hero's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Jump Kid ships an update every 17 months, Kick Hero every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 18, 2026 and September 20, 2026 respectively.
