Fish Planet vs Pond King App

Fish Planet is a fishing guide and worldwide fish encyclopedia for anglers, travelers and nature enthusiasts. The app includes information on about 1000 freshwater and saltwater fish species: pike, perch, carp, walleye, bass, trout, catfish, salmon, tuna, cod, marlin, grouper, sea bass, mullet, flounder and many other fish from rivers, lakes, seas and oceans around the world. For each fish species, you can find: • scientific Latin name; • common names in different languages; • illustrated and photorealistic fish images; • fish description and identification features; • habitat and distribution range; • interactive world map of the species range; • feeding, spawning, migration and seasonal activity; • where and when to fish; • recommended fishing methods, tackle, lures, baits and rigs. The interactive map helps you explore fish by location. Tap a region, coast, sea, river or lake and see which fish species live and can be caught there. Fish Planet is designed for anglers who want to learn more about fish biology and sport fishing methods. It can help you answer practical fishing questions: Where does this fish live? When is the best season or time of day to catch it? What tackle should I use? Which lures, baits or rigs work for this species? Which fish can be found in a selected area? The app also includes useful fishing tools: Fishing calendar — follow the activity periods of your favorite fish. Fishing clock — check possible daily activity hours for selected species. Fishing knots — learn knots for hooks, leaders, rigs and fishing tackle. Fishing navigator — mark fishing spots, routes, ice holes, trolling tracks and catches. Fish Planet combines a fish encyclopedia, angler handbook, species atlas, fishing map and tackle guide in one mobile app. Terms of Use (EULA) - https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
