Snake went underground, and it came back mean. You are a digger. You eat to grow. Longer makes you a wall, and the tunnels you carve are the only map anyone down there gets. There is no shooting and no dodging. You kill the way the old cabinets made you kill: you make the other one run into something solid. Your own body, or rock nobody has dug yet. The arena is not the stage you fight on. It is the weapon. TWO INPUTS. THAT IS THE WHOLE CABINET. Steer and boost. Touch anywhere to steer, push past the ring to boost. No ability bar, no cooldowns, no tutorial, nothing to memorise before your first run. If you have ever played Snake, you already know the hard part. BOOST COSTS BODY. Doubling your speed spends the length you ate for, and you cannot spend past the floor. Every chase is a trade against your own size. Boosting into un-dug rock kills you, so speed is never free. DEATH IS A DOORWAY. No defeat screen. No placement summary. No confirm button, and never an ad. You die, your remains feed whoever was standing over you, and you are in a fresh arena in under a second. Insert nothing. Go again. ENDLESS FOR YOU. NOT FOR THE ARENA. Arenas take joiners for a while, then lock. After the lock nobody new arrives, the bots forfeit the field, and every death is a permanent removal. The pool only gets smaller. The last digger down there wins, which means one player gets a win and nobody gets a loss. THEN THE GROUND COMES BACK. Chew through enough rock and it starts caving in. The walls you spent the whole run removing return exactly when the field is at its smallest, and a wall is how you kill. The floor keeps a way through, always. You will never be sealed in. You may well be sealed in with someone. DIG REAL COUNTRIES. Every country is different rock. Cave chambers under the United States, with no walls to cut against. Roots that grow back over your tunnels in Brazil, so map control is temporary. Victorian brickwork under the United Kingdom that everyone can use and nobody can dig. Sinkhole shafts in Mexico that drop you between layers. Lava tubes in Iceland you can ride but never cut. Sand in Egypt that takes your tunnels back everywhere except the Nile. Australia, the hardest rock in the game, where every metre is earned. WHAT YOU ATE IS ON YOUR BACK. Your tail shows the minerals you swallowed, in the order you swallowed them. A rival's whole run is legible at a glance, which makes a fat digger a target rather than an obstacle. THE NATIONAL SURVEY. Every tunnel you cut is banked permanently against that country's explored percentage, and collapse never takes it back. Play the campaign to earn the roster: a mole rat, a tunnel drill, a cave salamander that outruns anything in water, a fungal network, an acid ooze, an auger, a root drill, a pipeline layer. Sidegrades, never upgrades. A digger unlocked late is never simply stronger than the one you started with.
