Verdict
The clearest difference is ratings volume: Дождь at 2.2K against Хорошие новости's 19. Дождь also leads on device support (4 vs 2). Хорошие новости's advantage is review sentiment (90% vs 67%) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Дождь against 4.8 for Хорошие новости. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Дождь has 2.2K ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 67% of Дождь's written reviews are positive against 90% of Хорошие новости's.
Дождь ships an update every 2 months, Хорошие новости every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
