Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Show Mix at 100% against Turbo Control's 20%. Show Mix also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). Turbo Control's advantage is rating (2.9 vs 2.5) and ratings volume (41 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Turbo Control holds the better App Store score, 2.9 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Turbo Control has 41 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of Turbo Control's written reviews are positive against 100% of Show Mix's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Turbo Control ships an update every 5 months, Show Mix every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
