If you’re in for a very challenging physics-based race against time in eye-catching environments, you’re looking at the right game. Speed and focus are essential. And some good control of your temper would be advisable. Because mastering the GyroSphere is no easy task. You must get past all those ill-intentioned obstacles meant to throw you off the floating racetracks and finish the levels in the best possible time. Not an easy road ahead, the racetracks feature lots of narrow passages, sudden drops, tight loops, dizzying downward spirals, slippery slopes and, of course, the ever-present obstacles. You’ll be very busy and… pissed off, but where’s the fun in playing easy games? FEATURES: - creative and challenging physics-based levels - addictive gameplay - amazing graphics - swipe control - different spheres to unlock and play with - 48 tracks, 5 spheres, 5 environments (more coming) - leaderboards - special levels for PvP challenges

Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: GyroSphere Evolution at 4.5 against Gesture Recognizer Fun's 1.0. GyroSphere Evolution also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (1.9K vs 1). Gesture Recognizer Fun's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5) and ads (none vs shown). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GyroSphere Evolution sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Gesture Recognizer Fun asks for nothing beyond the download.
GyroSphere Evolution holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GyroSphere Evolution has 1.9K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Gesture Recognizer Fun's written reviews are positive against 68% of GyroSphere Evolution's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Gesture Recognizer Fun ships an update every 5 months, GyroSphere Evolution every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on June 11, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
