Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: The Force Guide at 5.0 against Star Wars's 4.4. The Force Guide also leads on monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Star Wars's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (2K vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
The Force Guide holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Star Wars has 2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
