Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: JustServe at 4.6 against LDS Advocate's 3.0. JustServe also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 21 months) and ratings volume (237 vs 2). LDS Advocate's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 73%) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
JustServe holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: JustServe has 237 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of LDS Advocate's written reviews are positive against 73% of JustServe's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
LDS Advocate ships an update every 21 months, JustServe every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
