Asound provides its users with an understanding of the accumulated noise experienced, its levels, and where it happened throughout the day. We are rarely aware of how much stress is caused due to accumulated noises we are exposed to in our surroundings. In addition to stress, there are levels of noise that can cause actual harm to the hearing, temporally or permanently. Asound provides noise exposure awareness through real-time decibel (dB) level indications as well as the recorded daily journey displayed on a map assisting with growing user awareness and daily planning. Users of Asound will be provided with the ability to contribute to the greater good and assist in general understanding of sound exposure types, how they impact people, and even how media-generated audio may influence behavior. A part of the Asound community will be invited to take an active part by registering and contributing to diverse topics of interest to them.
