MiCycle is a cycling tracker that is simple and just works. Free. No cluttered dashboards. No maze of pages and menus. Open it, tap Start, ride. You get the essentials, big and clear enough to read at a glance on the handlebars, and nothing in your way. Outdoors with GPS, or indoors on a trainer. FREE TO USE • Speed (current, average moving, maximum), distance, time (total, moving, paused), grade and heart rate, with heart rate zones shown by color • Big, clear Ride screen with a Map page, in portrait or landscape, whichever way your phone is mounted • Hold-to-finish button, so a bump never ends your ride by accident • Dark, light or automatic look, plus a High visibility mode for bright sunlight • Dim the screen to save battery without switching it off • iPhone GPS/GLONASS for location, speed and elevation; Bluetooth heart rate sensors • Apple Watch app: start, pause, resume and finish from your wrist, and see time, distance, speed, heart rate, grade and an elevation chart • The free version shows ads IN YOUR POCKET Put the phone away and MiCycle talks to you. You choose what it says (current speed, average speed, time since start, distance, calories, battery levels) and how often, by time or by distance. It also plays your music. UNLOCK MORE WHEN YOU NEED IT Optional features are available as in-app purchases, or as a subscription: • Keep Rides History: every ride with a map thumbnail, month totals and filters; bar charts of distance, average speed and power; the interactive ride chart (slide along the ride to see speed, grade, distance, time, power, cadence and heart rate at that point); Apple Health; Strava upload and GPX/TCX export • Routes and Segments (needs Rides History): follow routes you rode before or imported, the Climb page with the elevation profile of your route (the whole route, or only the next climb from its foot to the summit, even with a flat stretch in the middle), segments that start by themselves and compare you live with your personal best, and offline maps • Advanced Sensors: cadence, speed and power meters (standard Bluetooth, or ANT+ through a Bluetooth bridge, with a compensation setting for single-sided meters), the Power page, and a power curve with an estimated FTP • Auto-pause when you stop, so your averages stay correct • Pothole tracking: record potholes and get warned when you ride near one A subscription bundles them: Rides History, Rides History with Routes and Segments, or everything. Monthly or annual. HOW IT SAVES BATTERY MiCycle uses location only while a ride is running, and at a sensible pace (about every 5 m / 15 ft). Even so, continued use of GPS in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. Details: http://oxigenator.com/products/micycle/ Want everything, with no ads?
