With Decipher, the sacred methods of gematria and tziruf (permutations) are just a tap away. The practice of gematria—exploring connections between words based on their numerical values—has been a part of Kabbalistic study for centuries, unearthing deeper meanings in Torah and Talmud and . Luminaries like the Ari (Rabbi Isaac Luria), his disciple Rabbi Chaim Vital, and the revered Maharal of Prague, Rabbi Judah Loew ben Bezalel, used gematria to find hidden layers of meaning within the sacred texts, revealing the divine structure of Creation. Building on this tradition, Decipher allows you to explore gematria with unprecedented ease, instantly calculating the numerical value of any Hebrew word or phrase. But Decipher goes further, incorporating the ancient art of tziruf—letter permutation—championed by Rabbi Abraham Abulafia and meticulously documented by Rabbi Judah Albotini. Cautionary Note: Kabbalistic study, while profound, is not without its risks. Traditionally, it is advised that only those with a strong foundation in Torah and Talmudic studies—and with the requisite spiritual maturity—sojourn into these esoteric teachings. Misinterpretation or careless use of these mystical practices has historically led to confusion, spiritual harm, and, in some cases, dire consequences. The Baal Shem Tov himself cautioned against the unfiltered study of pure Kabbalah, recommending that its teachings be approached with the utmost reverence and guided by Chassidic interpretation. Please use Decipher with the awareness that it is a tool designed for those who seek to explore Kabbalah within a traditional and respectful framework, ensuring that your journey into these sacred mysteries is both enlightening and safe.
