Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: 暗棋2 at 50% against 知識王's 23%. 知識王's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (7 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. 知識王 sells 8 one-off in-app purchases and 暗棋2 sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
知識王 holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 知識王 has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 23% of 知識王's written reviews are positive against 50% of 暗棋2's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
