RO Toolbox vs ESTRO 2026

The RadOnc Toolbox is a resource for health care professionals that is designed to support evidence-based practice. This point-of-care tool compiles frequently accessed references related to the delivery of radiation therapy, including dose constraints, calculators, clinical practice guidelines, staging, and other oncology resources.    The RadOnc Toolbox was created by Malolan Rajagopalan, MD, MBA, who was Principal Investigator of a grant from the ASTRO Foundation, then known as the Radiation Oncology Institute (ROI), that aimed to develop a resource to manage acute and late radiation toxicity. The Foundation assumed responsibility for the RadOnc Toolbox and released the first version in 2016. Since then, the Foundation has continued to add resources and enhance the content.   The redesigned RadOnc Toolbox released by the Foundation in 2023 is produced in collaboration with Red Canvas, LLC.

It is my great pleasure to invite you to ESTRO 2026, taking place in Stockholm, Sweden from 15 to 19 May and to introduce this year’s congress theme: “Innovating Radiation Oncology, Together”. The theme will be reflected throughout the programme. Exciting keynote speakers will surprise us, more patients than ever will provide their perspectives and reflections, and interaction between chairs, speakers and the participants will be further increased, to maximise the learning experience.
