About

Gravity Physics

Features

Gravity is a real-time N-body physics simulation of our solar system — fly a spacecraft through accurately modeled orbits, gravity wells, and atmospheres, all rendered in a clean top-down view of the ecliptic plane. Every body uses real physical data: mass, radius, orbital elements, and atmospheric density where applicable. Gravity between all 26 bodies — Sun, planets, major moons, and dwarf planets — is computed live using velocity Verlet integration, so orbits, perturbations, and gravity assists emerge naturally from physics, not scripted paths. FEATURES • Pilot your own spacecraft — configure engine count, thrust, and mass, then launch from Earth • True N-body gravity — every body pulls on every other body and on your ship, in real time • Realistic atmospheric drag and heating — feel the difference between skimming Earth's atmosphere and diving into Venus or Saturn • Time controls — speed up months of orbital motion or slow down to precision-dock in real time • Trajectory prediction — see where your current heading will take you before you commit • Flight trail — trace your path across millions of kilometers • Extended telemetry — track speed, altitude, gravity, thrust-to-weight ratio, dynamic pressure, hull temperature, time dilation, and more Whether you want to attempt a Hohmann transfer to Mars, slingshot past Jupiter, or just watch the Moon orbit Earth in fast-forward, Gravity gives you a physically accurate sandbox to explore the mechanics of our solar system.
