Counting Sheep!
Read full descriptionHide full description
A gentle and charming game for kids and grown-ups alike — perfect for winding down before bedtime or simply enjoying a peaceful moment. Help the sheep jump at the right time to leap over the fence. Miss the timing and poof, the sheep vanishes in a soft cloud. Catch sneaky wolves with your net as they jump. Miss them and awooo, the wolf slips into the sheep pen. Let three wolves through… and it’s game over. No ticking clock. No leaderboard. No stress. This game follows a slow, relaxing rhythm designed to calm the mind and focus attention. Visually soft and sonically tender, it plays like an interactive lullaby. The music gently rocks you, the sound effects are lighthearted, and every animation follows a smooth, sleepy tempo. You’ll see sheep hopping, wolves leaping, stars barely twinkling, clouds floating by, a little wooden fence, and a kind moon watching overhead. Nothing rushes here — everything breathes. Ideal for bedtime, quiet breaks, or easing out of a hectic day. The game is free, requires no sign-up or account, and includes a few light ads that are carefully placed to never break the mood. Thank you to everyone who supported this game’s creation. And a special mention to Namoi, my faithful beta-tester, whose laughter and advice guided every jump and every net. Launch the game. Listen. Watch. Make the sheep jump. Catch the wolves.

Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Squirrel Surge at none against Counting Sheep!'s shown. Squirrel Surge also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.0). Counting Sheep!'s advantage is update cadence (every 7 months vs every 18 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
