Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: 黄历 at 4.6 against My Data Usage's 2.8. 黄历 also leads on ratings volume (3.5K vs 23). My Data Usage's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 36%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. My Data Usage sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and 黄历 sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
黄历 holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 黄历 has 3.5K ratings behind it against 23, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of My Data Usage's written reviews are positive against 36% of 黄历's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
My Data Usage ships an update every 2 months, 黄历 monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
