Verdict
The clearest difference is monetization model: Vocal Tune at free with in-app purchases against Offtop's subscription. Vocal Tune also leads on iOS requirement (14.5 vs 18.0). Offtop's advantage is review sentiment (51% vs 38%) and ratings volume (4.4K vs 777). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Offtop sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Vocal Tune sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Offtop against 4.6 for Vocal Tune. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Offtop has 4.4K ratings behind it against 777, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 51% of Offtop's written reviews are positive against 38% of Vocal Tune's.
Offtop ships an update every 2 weeks, Vocal Tune every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
