Both are free to download. NDI Player sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Remote Truck asks for nothing beyond the download.
Remote Truck holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 9 and 18 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Remote Truck's written reviews are positive against 25% of NDI Player's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Remote Truck ships an update every 5 weeks, NDI Player fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
