CARNIAmapp vs Live

DISCOVERING THE RURAL LANDSCAPE OF CARNIA This app features short photographic themes, designed by the photographer Ulderica Da Pozzo, on the maps of Casa Editrice Tabacco, to offer a selection of starting points and suggestions for discovering the most authentic aspects of the rural landscape of Carnia, able to reveal the true soul of these valleys. The proposed itineraries will lead you to unfamiliar landscapes that are often well off the beaten track. It will be an opportunity to explore places with unique charm, to taste and buy local produce, but also to meet and get to know the people whose toil has shaped and preserved these landscapes. Welcome to Carnia and buon viaggio! MAIN FUNCTIONS: WARNING: A Continued use of GPS, also in background mode, can lead to a considerable battery consumption, resulting in reduced autonomy. ZOOM: Both cartography and pictures are zoomable for a better view. TRACK RECORD: Using the built-in GPS , you can easily record your own excursions, assigning to each one different color and a description, so they can be immediately recognized. HIGHLIGHTS: During the excursion you can identify different Points of Interest (POI), to which you can assign an icon chosen from the many available (for example: Car park, scenic spot, mountain pass etc.). IMPORT: It is possible to import tracks with a gpx file. PICTURES: Along the route, you can take pictures that will be stored and georeferenced for future reference. PLACE NAMES: within the CarniaMapp you can search for a name belonging to this geographic area. If it is present, but not physically visible on the cartography, the map is displayed with the place name at the center of the display.

Regatta Tracker turns your phone into a live GPS beacon on the water. Whether you're racing, cruising with your club, or on a private passage, simply join a session with a 6-character code and start broadcasting your position in real time. LIVE TRACKING See your speed in knots, heading, GPS coordinates, and accuracy at a glance. Your position is sent to the session organizer continuously so they always know where you are on the water. RACE & OFFSHORE MODES Switch between Race mode (high-frequency GPS, ideal for short-course racing) and Offshore mode (5-minute intervals, optimized for battery life on longer passages). BACKGROUND & OFFLINE READY Tracking keeps running even with your screen locked. If you lose signal, positions are queued locally and automatically uploaded the moment you're back online — no data is lost. MULTI-SESSION SUPPORT Join more than one session at the same time. Your GPS is broadcast to all active sessions simultaneously — useful when a boat participates in multiple tracking groups at once. SIMPLE TO JOIN No account needed. Enter your boat name, type in the session code your organizer shares with you, and tap Start Tracking. Password-protected sessions are also supported. Regatta Tracker is the companion app to Regatta Manager, a browser-based tool used by race officers, club managers, and event organizers to monitor their fleet in real time.
