MetaTwist vs TouchMe Trainer

More than 2000 German words in 57 categories including professions, food, or verbs. Select a category, and set of cards appears. Flip cards by tapping them – now try to find the pairs. Once you find a pair, MetaTwist will speak the word. Once you have found all the pairs, all cards are shown again with the appropriate applause. You can now repeat the words by tapping them. You can select the number of cards (4, 6, 12, or 24 cards). Tapping the “=” button repeats the same set of cards, so you can play again. By default, the words are spoken using the built-in iOS voice. With an inApp purchase you can buy additional voices (man/woman and boy/girl) from Acapela. To unlock these functions tap the edit key in the lower left corner and tap the numbers in the passcode in order from smallest to largest. Then tap the voice settings button to go to our voice store. The association of images, text and sound helps with learning to speak and to read. Even young children, that cannot read yet, are motivated by the images. The MetaTwist images are part of the METACOM symbol system and are known for their clarity and high quality graphics. The categories and words are based on the content of our MetaTalk app. MetaTwist helps MetaTalk users to explore the words in each category while playing. But MetaTwist goes beyond MetaTalk, it is an app for all users!

TouchMe Trainer is an application to learn and improve the handling of a touchscreen. TouchMe Trainer for iPad is available in 2 versions: - TouchMe Trainer: Only one object can be used in the exercises. An In-App Purchase is required to use all objects. - TouchMe Trainer PRO: All objects can be used without limitation. The application offers two exercises: Exercise 1: “Touch” The aim of this exercise is to recognize the presented object and to touch it. Every correct input will be confirmed with a short feedback. After a predefined number of correct inputs, a reward animation will be played. The level of difficulty will adjust automatically to the skill of the user. At the beginning the objects are big but they will be reduced in size gradually. Exercise 2: “Drag and drop” The aim of this exercise is to move objects to their target position by swiping over the screen. Again, the level of difficulty will adjust automatically to the skill of the user. Various settings allow adjustment for special needs of users. The latest sessions will be recorded and may be used for documentation and evaluation. Note: On the iPad, the Home button must be pressed to get back to the main screen of the application.
