Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Disc In at 100% against Watch UFA's 59%. Disc In also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 5 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). Watch UFA's advantage is rating (4.1 vs 3.9) and ratings volume (37 vs 7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Watch UFA holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Watch UFA has 37 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of Watch UFA's written reviews are positive against 100% of Disc In's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Watch UFA ships an update every 5 months, Disc In monthly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
