DotWĀV is a pure tone frequency instrument and a noise generator. Every sound is generated live by your device at the exact settings you choose—nothing is streamed, nothing is compressed, and nothing is downloaded. Three kinds of tone: · Pure Tone → a single clean frequency, from the solfeggio and angelic frequencies to 432 and 440 Hz. · Binaural Beats → a slightly different frequency in each ear. Headphones required: the beat exists in the listening, not in the sound. · Isochronic Pulses → one tone, switched on and off at a steady rate, from 0.5 Hz up through the gamma band at 40 Hz. Set the frequency and pulse rate by dragging, or choose a preset. Three kinds of noise: · White Noise → every frequency at equal strength, a bright, even hiss. · Pink Noise → softer in the highs and steady, like rain on a roof. · Brown Noise → deep and low, like a distant rumble. Many people use noise to help them fall asleep. Switch between tones and noise with the Mode button. Features · Four wave visualizations: Circles, Drops, Fills, and Classic. Each one drawn live from the sound you're actually hearing. · In Noise mode, off-air TV snow in white, pink, or brown, with fine, coarse, or blotchy texture, or a plain black screen for sleep. · Full screen, edge to edge, in any orientation. · A sleep timer that fades the sound out gently rather than cutting it, with an optional end-of-timer sound: Glass, Two Notes, Bloom, or Bowl. · Random picks a new sound and a new look for you. · My Waves: save a tone or noise you like and return to it. · Plays on through screen lock and in the background, with proper lock-screen controls.
