HIDDEN CODES ist ein Mobile Game der Bildungsstätte Anne Frank und widmet sich dem Thema Radikalisierung im Netz. In einer simulierten Social Media-Umgebung chatten die Spieler*innen, durchstöbern Profile und reagieren auf Storys und Kommentare anderer Nutzer*innen. Die App befähigt junge Menschen spielerisch dazu, problematische Inhalte oder Aussagen zu erkennen und kompetent darauf zu reagieren: Wie nutzen radikale Gruppen digitale Medien, um zu für ihre Zwecke zu mobilisieren? Welche politischen Codes und Verschwörungsmythen werden im Netz verbreitet? Was kann ich tun, wenn ich mitbekomme, dass sich jemand in meinem Umfeld radikalisiert? Spezifische Themen und Elemente rechter und islamistischer Radikalisierung werden in einzelnen Episoden beleuchtet.
