Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is update cadence: Block Cub at every 2 days against Five's fortnightly. Block Cub also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Five's advantage is ratings volume (57 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
