Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: BPDigital at every 10 days against Appoderado's every 4 months. BPDigital also leads on ratings volume (257 vs 13). Appoderado's advantage is review sentiment (79% vs 67%) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
BPDigital holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BPDigital has 257 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of BPDigital's written reviews are positive against 79% of Appoderado's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
BPDigital ships an update every 10 days, Appoderado every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
