Both are free to download. Battery Watcher sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Watch Battery Logger asks for nothing beyond the download.
Watch Battery Logger holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Battery Watcher has 339 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Battery Watcher's written reviews are positive against 0% of Watch Battery Logger's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Battery Watcher ships an update fortnightly, Watch Battery Logger every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
