WetRuler
This augmented reality application measures and weighs fish using your device's camera. Simply place your catch on a surface, select the fish type, and the app will estimate its length and approximate weight. It also records a photo of your catch with the measurements displayed.

WetRuler is an AR app that measures and weighs your fish all without rulers or scales. Select the type of fish that you've caught from a list of common ones caught in Alaska. Place the fish on a horizontal surface and a AR screen grid will appear. Choose the the head to tail length and algorithms will generate length and approximate weight. --most common Alaskan fish included --records weight in pounds and length in inches --you don't have to touch the fish! --able to weigh halibut up to 10 feet in length! --records photo of your catch with weight and length displayed --works well in water for catch and release
